Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio
For those who live in northeast Ohio, it is impossible to ignore the annual Twins Days Festival held over a weekend in August each year in Twinsburg, Ohio. The first festival was in 1976, the same year the first Revco Cleveland Marathon ran from Twinsburg to downtown Cleveland. Originally, a little group of people that were planning the bicentennial celebrations for the year thought up an idea to set aside an annual day for Twins. The first festival drew 37 sets of twins. At the time, no one had any idea what the festival would become in future years.
