I know some of our preemie and multiple moms preserve stem cells from their newborn’s umbilical cord blood, as it may have potential use for someday fighting against a dreaded disease. Making the decision to bank your baby’s cord blood takes thoughtful consideration.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Cryo-Cell International, Inc is donating $50 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research when enrolling in the Protect Baby + Protect Mom service. Click Cyro-Cell Breast Cancer Donation for more information.

Cryo-Cell is also partnering with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to explore the potential utilization of menstrual stem cells to treat breast cancer. Stem cells from menstrual blood are proven to be a rich source of stem cells and may someday be used for diagnostic and regenerative medicine.

Unlike cord blood, which you only have one chance to collect and preserve (at birth), C’elle gives you a chance every single month during your menstrual cycle to collect stem cells that could some day save your life.

Plus C’elle is lso donating $25 from every enrollment of their “C’elle Menstrual Stem Cell” service throughout the month of October to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Click C’Elle Breast Cancer Donation for more information.

According to the American Cancer Society, there are 2.5 million breast cancer patients and survivors today, and an estimated one in eight women will be stricken with this disease at some point in her life. So “feel your boobies” today!
