When my twins were preemies, I couldn’t find preemie clothes for Macy and Mallory anywhere! None of the discount stores like Walmart or Target carried such tiny outfits back then, and internet shopping was non-existent! I think I found a few preemie outfits at Herberger’s, but back then I couldn’t afford expensive clothes only to be worn for a short time span. I was only 21 with a three-year-old and two babies in the NICU – I had bigger problems to worry about.

Anyway, now when I see preemie clothing, my heart melts, and I want to buy them all! And since I’m a sucker for sales, if I find preemie outfits on clearance, I want to buy even more! I do stock when I find good deals to save for special occasions, such as birthdays, holidays and new babies. But I don’t wish the curse of having a premature baby on anyone, so I have resisted the urge to buy such thus far.
