Nikkibeans….Be strong my dear!! I to just gave birth to twin boys. They were born at 30 weeks, they are in the NICU, and so far doing fairly well. I have a wonderful suport system and itis still difficult. I couldn’t even imagine being in your shoes. Just remember that you are not alone!! There are people out there experiencing the same feelings and thoughts as you…. drop me an e-mail sometime, we can chat. I know its not much but I can be a pretty good support in those times of need.
Keep your chin up my dear, it will get better!

Nikkibeans…I too had twin boys Oct 15th at 31 weeks. They boys were in the nicu for 5 weeks. It has been very difficult and everyone told me it would get better, but at the time i didnt think so. And it did!!! It does get better. It takes everything out of you, but in a couple months it will be so much more rewarding and fun. When they begin to smile at you and laugh; how precious they are….hang in there. As like Kelly, if you need to ever chat I hope i can be of any help.
Sending my luv,
Brandy

On May 5 of last year I gave birth to twin boys. I was 30 weeks. I went to the doctor for a regular check up and told them I was feeling a bit weird. They put me on the stress machine and told me to go straight to the hospital. They didnt give me a reason why. When I got there I had to go in for and emergency c section because the umbilical cord was wrapped around Bishops neck. They were both only 3 lbs. They had to stay in the NICU for 2 months. I understand what you are going through. Those were the roughest 2 months of my life. I had so many ups and downs. But I promise it does get better. My boys are now almost a year and doing great. You just have to keep your head up and stick the rough times out. Congratulations on your twins. I hope they bring you a lifetime of happiness. I will pray for you and the babies

i had two beautiful boys at 29 weeks and 6 days. boys spent 6 weeks in NICU. they have issues with anemia and thyroid gland, but have been doing well overall.
we still have feeding issues and many doctor’s appointments, but my boys are fighters and have been doing well so far.
it’s a tough road, but definitely worth it. count your blessings and pray for your children. i and my boys will pray for you.

I had my identical twin boys at 26 weeks and they were 1 pound 5 ounces and 1 pound 8 ounces at birth. Major medical issues with both at first then later one started to get better. My other son didn’t but both had to spend 2 years at NICU because every time the healthy one went home the sick one would take a turn for the worse and almost die. So your not the only one out there alone trying to take such a huge responsibility. If you love them and I am sure you do- then keep praying and you will remain strong for them. I wish you much luck and my prayers are with you. Just think- soon they will go home with you….
