Is March of Dimes Doodle Worthy on Google?

March of Dimes is petitioning Google.com to create a doodle for Prematurity Awareness Day on November 14th. The idea is simple. Each year half a million babies are born too soon. Each day millions of pages on Google are seen the world over. Sign the petition to convince Google that the crisis of premature birth is worthy of the top spot on November 14th! I was the 4,489th signature!

Help Pass the “PREEMIE Act”

S. 707: PREEMIE Act: A bill to reduce preterm labor and delivery and the risk of pregnancy-related deaths and complications due to pregnancy, and to reduce infant mortality caused by prematurity.

US Senate has already passed this Act. Ask your State Representatives to Sponsor the “PREEMIE Act” as well. March of Dimes has created an easy letter for you to download and send. Once the House passes it, and the President signs it, it’s law!

The Ride that Fights Prematurity

Come join the ride that is sweeping the nation! For the past 14 years, the March of Dimes has hosted this event. March of Dimes makes a call out to all motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country to help support the mission of the March of Dimes. In 2005, the United States hosted more than 80 RIDEs, had 65,000 participants and more importantly rose over $2.8 million to help save babies. The RIDE is the perfect opportunity for motorcycle clubs, dealerships, vendors and individual motorcyclists to join together to make a positive community contribution. Click for More Info!

6/14 is “Be a Hero for Babies Day”

The March of Dimes and Farmers Insurance invites you to be a part of “Be a Hero for Babies Day’’ and join the fight to stem the growing crisis of premature birth in the United States. With a goal to raise $1 million in a single day, Farmers will match up to the first $250,000 in public donations. “We are committed to providing the support the March of Dimes needs.
